PDMLink 10 Implementation



Wincom initially was contracted to provide consulting on the best practices when implementing Windchill and this involved direct on-site consulting, making a number of detailed presentations to the core team responsible for the implementation.

Once this phase was complete, and as with all PLM implementations a number of gaps were indentified, Wincom was contracted to fill these functional gaps using our unique component architecture. Within 6 months all the major features had been implemented and tested the the system went live, we continued to work on improving and adding new features to the system over the next year.

After just over 12 months of work, we have implemented 12 separate components, including productivity enhancements, eBoM to mBoM features, software management, ERP integration and other 3rd part integrations using web services.

We have worked closely with the system integrator and all the project milestones have been achieved on time and within budget.

This customer is one of the world’s major manufacturers of mailroom equipment and logistics systems. In 2011 the company decided to replace it’s existing PLM systems with a single PLM and they chose to implement PTC’s PDMLink 10.
